Authority and Injustice | Ecclesiastes 8:1-17

We are eight weeks into our sermon series called The Wisdom of Ecclesiastes: Life Under the Sun. In this book the preacher has been pointing out the futility of a self-centered life and instead directing his audience toward trust in God. This week we will be continuing our series by studying Ecclesiastes 8:2-17. In this section the teacher provides wisdom regarding authority and injustice—specifically he explains that one should obey the king, fear God despite injustice, and enjoy life. Join us this week as we study God’s Word and seek to apply it to our lives.
