Wisdom and Folly | Proverbs 9

Last week we started a new series called The Wisdom of Proverbs: A Life Well Lived. Proverbs presents wisdom as an attribute of God, woven into the fabric of the world, that He wants to teach to His people. The book of Proverbs is primarily written from the perspective of a father instructing his sons on how to be wise. The father wants his son to understand how God has designed life to work and wants to encourage him to live in accordance with “that way”. This week we will be discussing wisdom and folly as we look at chapter 9. We will learn that wisdom is created by God and precious while folly is a rejection of God’s ways and destructive. Listen in as we seek to understand God’s truths and apply them to our lives.
