God is Light, Walk in the Light | 1 John 1:5-10

Last week, we started a new series called The Letters of John: A Study of First, Second, and Third John. The purpose of this series is to explore the truths found in John’s letters and apply them to our lives, and what we will discover is that all three epistles were written to help believers live the Christian life. This week we will continue our study by looking at 1 John 1:5-10. We will notice that from the outset, John declares that God is light and His people likewise should avoid the darkness and walk in the light. He clarifies that this doesn’t mean sinless perfection, but it does look like honesty and ongoing confession of one’s sin. Join us as we study this passage and apply the truths to our lives.
