Elder Ordination Examination

Since our church’s updated bylaws were approved back in May, it is time to raise and ordain more Elders to help the current Pastors continue to lead, teach, shepherd, and develop this congregation.

After 3 years of training, our own Larry Ellis, who serves here as a Trustee, Small Group Leader, and Sunday School Teacher, and who has preached God’s Word here several times, is in the process of being vetted to serve as a lay Pastor/Elder here.

We are now at the final step where Larry will participate in a Theological and Church Examination. This is an oral exam in front of a select group of pastors, which will be on Saturday, November 17th from 9am to 12pm. We invite you to attend, as we would love for you to be a part of witnessing this process.
