Elder Candidate Feedback

Since our church’s updated bylaws were approved back in May, it is time to raise up and ordain a true plurality of Elders to help the current Pastors continue to lead, teach, shepherd, and develop this congregation.

After 3 years of training, our own Larry Ellis, who serves here as a Trustee, Small Group Leader, and Sunday School Teacher, and who has preached God’s Word here several times, has begun being vetted to serve as a lay Pastor/Elder.

As part of that vetting process, we need your help. Throughout September, we will have an Elder Candidate Feedback form that we are asking you to fill out, found in the button below. This will help us know if the Holy Spirit filling all of us in this congregation is leading Larry towards ordination as a Pastor/Elder here. Your feedback will help us know if Larry is seen as qualified and equipped to serve this flock by helping lead, teach, shepherd, and develop the congregation.

The more people who fill out this form, the more we’ll know if God is leading us in this direction together. Even if you don’t have a full answer for every question on the form, anything you submit will be helpful.
