Absalom's Revolution | 2 Samuel 15-16
This semester our Sunday sermons series is called 2 Samuel: Broken and Beloved. This book focuses on King David as he flourishes through obedience and declines through disobedience. Currently we are in the part of the book that chronicles the consequences for David’s sinful actions. This week we will study 2 Samuel 15-16 and observe more difficulty coming to David’s life. Specifically we will see that another consequence of David’s sin is being subject to a coup in which his son steals the throne from him. We will see how this leads David to flee, lose relationships, endure cursing, and live in exile again. Listen in as we learn about the lessons God intends to teach us when we experience the consequences of our sin.
